Toronto Public Library Books Clever Samurai to Connect with Torontonians

TORONTO, Canada, March 3, 2015 - Clever Samurai (cleversamurai.com) Marketing Communications has been selected by Toronto Public Library (torontopubliclibrary.ca) to create a social media and community engagement campaign to help Torontonians discover that the library is much more than a place to borrow books.

The spring campaign will coincide with the opening of the library’s 100th branch and aims to disrupt perceptions about the library and what it has to offer. The campaign will enlist 100 ambassadors (including city librarians) to mobilize Torontonians around 100 new and different things they can do at the library, like: Dial-a-Story in 16 languages, juried art exhibits, special collections, MAP Family Saturdays, 3-D printing, digital downloads, Ready for Reading programs and more.

Clever Samurai Vice President and Creative Director, Joe Amaral, says "the library is a terrific brand and a valuable place for people to learn and enjoy. We’re excited to play our part in sharing the story of why the Toronto Public Library will no longer be one of the city’s best kept secrets."

Clever Samurai was chosen through a widespread agency selection process.
